Helping queer and neurodivergent people thrive in a world that wasn’t built for them.
It makes sense that you’re overwhelmed, exhausted, and burned out. It makes sense that you’re angry! You’ve been working SO HARD to survive in a world that says there’s only one right way to be!
My approach to therapy is rooted in a simple idea: that you are not broken; the systems we live under are. Many of my clients (and myself!) are queer, trans, nonbinary, and/or neurodivergent — all identities that have been made to feel inferior in our culture, which values neurotypicality, heteronormativity, whiteness, and conformity above all else.
In therapy, we’ll explore the ways your parts have adapted to help you survive up to now, and learn how to honor and celebrate them while forging new paths that allow you to live as your true, authentic self.
I earned my Master of Social Work degree in 2017 from the University of Michigan and am a Licensed Master Social Worker. My clinical experience includes school social work and psychotherapy & counseling.
I've received training in a variety of modalities, and I tailor my treatment approach to each individual client. I am EMDR-trained and IFS-informed, and I lean heavily on IFS. Using principles of the Internal Family Systems model, we'll work toward creating harmony in your internal world and befriending all the parts of you that have worked so hard to protect you through the years.

Helping adults and couples build the lives and connections they want.
Imagine a day when anxiety and worry don’t hold you back. A day when you don't feel trapped in the most painful parts of your past. When you feel close again to your partner, your friends, your family. If it’s hard to imagine, that’s ok. You're not alone. And you don't have to figure it all out on your own.
I help adults and couples overcome the issues that are keeping them from the lives and relationships they want. I’ll work hard to make sure you feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely understood. Let’s talk. Together we can explore the power of your thoughts, consider your context and how it impacts your experiences, strengthen your relationships, and develop skills to help you reach your goals.
I've been working with survivors of abuse and trauma since 2014, especially with those who’ve experienced sexual abuse and assault. I hold a Master of Social Work degree with Ohio University and am a Limited License Master Social Worker.
As a psychotherapist and counselor, I specialize in working with people who are struggling with anxiety and trauma, in particular the pain and shame of sexual violence. My clients want to process their painful experiences in a safe place, and calm the day to day emotional storm, so that they can live present, authentic, empowered lives, and form deeply connected relationships.
I have training and experience in several evidence-based treatment modalities. My approach to therapy is primarily informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I draw from these and other methods, and your own wisdom and inherent strengths, to customize treatment to meet your needs, so that we can find what works best for you.
